Hello Ahna, I believe we either live “in love” or we live “in fear.” It’s clear to me (from working with you for a short time and from reading what you’ve written) that you embrace a loving, rather than a fearful, existence. You’re emotionally and physically strong, intellectually sound, creative, thoughtful, determined, spiritual, funny, and brave. I applaud you and know that you will do whatever it is you decide to do. After all, you’re doing that right now, and your path is an exciting one.

Thank you Sir Charming 😉 There is no need to worry about my loneliness consuming me, on the contrary I think I am saying that I am okay being lonely – for the first time ever. I am doing something that will benefit communities and open communication across cultures, and while it sounds romantic it’s really not. But I have never been so sure of my direction or of myself. I have never been able to push my social life aside knowing that I am doing something that is more important. It’s an epic place for me – and I dig that 🙂 Also, my family is incredible. And we are all finally getting along, but we have definitely been through it! Family is something that never goes away – can never be shaken – and I know how blessed I am:)

“Writing, at its best, is a lonely life.” – Ernest Hemingway, I’m sorry that you’re feeling lonely. You and many others like you face loneliness everyday, it’s good to hear that you do have a support network of close knit friends and family. Others don’t have such a network or choose to be entirely lonesome because they fear that anyone else would interrupt their work. You’re heading towards a path that is asking a lot of you, the work that you are doing is greatly appreciated and you’ve taken a serious interest in the success of your projects. As for someone special, he’ll eventually come and he will support you just as much as you will support him in his endeavors. Writer to writer, you learn to cope with it but don’t let it consume you.
