I had a choice: 1) Lose my shit and go crazy on both of them…or 2) Realize that getting rid of her was the best thing for me.
It was that day that I decided to go back to school at Chapel Hill. I started there in 2000, and left because of her. That day, I filled out the application to return, and within two months, did just that. It was the best day of my life. It was like a weight had been lifted, and all the trials and tribulations that I had suffered for the past seven years had been removed.
Besides, as I always say, Tuesday is the worst day. At least with Monday, you have all the memories from the weekend to hold you over. Wednesday is hump day, it’s all downhill from there. Thursday, you’ve only got one more to go til the weekend. Friday, well, anybody can do anything for eight hours. But Tuesday?…well, there’s just nothing to look forward to…except maybe some pancakes at IHOP. 😉
